Teen Talk

Teen Talk is designed for adolescents ages 15 to 17 who are experiencing difficulties with emotional regulation. The group teaches skills including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulations, and interpersonal effectiveness. The emphasis will be on using these skills to handle distressing situations and improve relationships.

Parents are required to attend three sessions to learn ways of supporting their children in using the skills.

“I have not had a panic attack since.  I am a lot less depressed than I used to be.  I can cope with my anxiety a lot better. It helped to know I am not alone in my struggles.” - Teen

Please note: Potential participants are assessed to determine their readiness for group work.
