LAUGH OUT LOUD 2019
What a night! Our 12th annual Laugh Out Loud on May 8th at The Carlu was a hugely successful event raising $225,000 net in support of children’s mental health and The George Hull Centre.
A sold-out crowd enjoyed an evening of fun and laughter with a star-studded lineup of comedic talent including Hosts Colin Mochrie and Debra McGrath, Headliner Gavin Crawford, Opening Comedian Nour Hadidi, along with a special musical performance by singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk. The bidding was fast and furious with the philanthro-tainer, Layne The Auctionista and a moving speech by past client Giorgia Campanella-Ivey together with her mother Joanna Ivey, helped us all to better understand what children’s mental illness looks like and its impact on kids and families.
A round of thunderous applause to all our sponsors, with a special shout-out to our Centre Stage Sponsor CIBC, and Spotlight Sponsor Tangerine Bank, as well as to our guests and the caring community who helped us raise funds to expand our Day Treatment School Program for Grades 6-8. With your generosity, you are bringing laughter back into the lives of children and families struggling with mental health issues.
Together we are standing up for children’s mental health!
See all the fun here.
