Volunteers
Volunteers enrich our services and make a difference in the lives of children and families by giving of their time, skills, dedication, and enthusiasm.
At The George Hull Centre, volunteers are needed and much appreciated in a variety of areas depending on current needs.
-
EarlyON Child and Family Centre, a universal program for children from birth to age 6 and their caregivers, often needs the help of volunteers for special programming, such as a holiday party or summer BBQ. Click here to read more about the program. Volunteers are required to complete a vulnerable sector criminal reference check.
-
Research and Program Evaluation. We are often looking for volunteers who are willing to undertake data collection, entry and analysis.
-
Family Gift Match Program: Each year the Centre provides Holiday Hampers to families in need during the December holiday season. Caring individuals are assigned a family and provided a list of their needs and wishes, and then purchase/obtain those items. Volunteer support is needed in the form of a donating family as well as for the administration and execution of this meaningful initiative.
We also offer a range of opportunities for volunteers from corporations that financially support the Centre.
