Volunteers enrich our services and make a difference in the lives of children and families by giving of their time, skills, dedication, and enthusiasm.

At The George Hull Centre, volunteers are needed and much appreciated in a variety of areas depending on current needs.

  1. EarlyON Child and Family Centre, a universal program for children from birth to age 6 and their caregivers, often needs the help of volunteers for special programming, such as a holiday party or summer BBQ.  Click here to read more about the program.   Volunteers are required to complete a vulnerable sector criminal reference check.

  2. Research and Program Evaluation. We are often looking for volunteers who are willing to undertake data collection, entry and analysis.

  3. Family Gift Match Program:  Each year the Centre provides Holiday Hampers to families in need during the December holiday season.  Caring individuals are assigned a family and provided a list of their needs and wishes, and then purchase/obtain those items.  Volunteer support is needed in the form of a donating family as well as for the administration and execution of this meaningful initiative.

We also offer a range of opportunities for volunteers from corporations that financially support the Centre.
